Mercy The Messenger of God (may peace be upon him) said: "God rendered Mercy into a hundred parts, keeping ninety-nine parts and sending one part down to earth. By virtue of that one portion, creatures are merciful to one another, such that even the mare lifts her hooves away from her foal, fearing she may step on it." The Prophet at Home Someone asked 'Aisha what the Prophet (pbuh) used to do at home. A woman came to A'isha, wife of the Prophet (pbuh), with two daughters. She asked for something, but found A'isha with nothing in her possession but a single date. A'isha gave her the date, and she divided it between her daughters. Then they left. When the Prophet (pbuh) returned, A'isha told him about this incident.
